Foreign Minister Park Jin met with India's deputy national security adviser Vikram Misri, who visited Korea on August 22 to attend the 4th Korea-India National Security Office Strategic Dialogue (Aug. 23).

Minister Park said, "Our government wants to strengthen strategic communication and cooperation with India, a key regional power that shares freedom and democratic values under the Indo-Pacific strategy."
“We evaluated the decision to hold a strategic dialogue between the national security offices of the two countries tomorrow, and welcomed deputy national security adviser Vikram Misri's visit to Korea.”

In particular, the two sides evaluated that high-level exchanges between the two countries are actively progressing this year to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations, and decided to develop a "special strategic partnership" between the two countries by continuing close high-level exchanges, including the G20 summit in September.

The two sides also agreed to continue to expand cooperation between Korea and India, which shares values at the level of △ defense, △ trade and investment, △ stable supply chain, △ science and technology, and △ region and global.

Meanwhile, Minister Park called for India's continued support for our companies operating in India.
