Minister of Foreign Affairs Park Jin signed a formal agreement on "Air Services Agreement between the Government of the Repub­lic of Korea and the Govern­ment of Bahrain" with Abdul­lah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism of Bahrain, who is visiting Korea to enhance eco­nomic cooperation between Korea and Bahrain, on May 15 at the Ministry of Foreign Af­fairs.

The conclusion of the air ser­vices agreement between the two countries is expected to promote people-to-people and physical exchanges, as well as contribute to the expansion of the public's choice through the operation of airlines from both countries in the future.

Meanwhile, Minister Park, in a meeting with Minis­ter Abdullah following the signing, acknowledged that since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1976, the two countries have been developing cooperation in var­ious fields such as construc­tion and infrastructure, and expressed the hope that the opening of the Bahraini Em­bassy in Korea will contribute to further enhancing bilateral cooperation.
