Cho Hee Yeon elected as a Seoul education chief for third time

Hyun-woo Jang, deputy Assistant Editor of the Concordia International University press, was appointed as co-chairman of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education's election committee, and will actively voice for coexistence and education through various activities.Candidate Cho Hee-yeon said at the event, "I feel like I've earned thousands of horses through the Youth Special Counseling Group," adding, "I'll continue to communicate with the educational body and move forward." 


 Cho Hee-yeon, a third-term candidate for superintendent of education, aims to lead climate crisis response education through more global education, expand real-time interactive international joint discussion classes by making Seoul a world standard, and expand recommended admission through MOUs with foreign universities.

Seoul’s education chief, Cho Hee-yeon, appeared to extend his term for a third time, showing him attracting 38.6 percent of the vote for a local council election held on the 1st June 2022.

During the election, Cho promised to improve the overall quality of public education. However, he claimed he is against ranking students based on scores. 

He highlighted he is for the high school credit system, which allows students to choose their own classes depending on their desired careers and capability.
