HD Hyundai announced on July 27 that Dmytro Ponomarenko, the Ukrainian ambassador to Korea, visited Pangyo HD Hyundai Global R&D Center (GRC) and discussed the reconstruction project with Cho Young-chul, president of HD Hyundai Site Solution.

President Cho introduced HD Hyundai's construction machinery business here and shared information on the visit of Korean economic mission to Poland, where Korean companies participated on July 14.

The two sides agreed to discuss ways to cooperate with Ukraine's reconstruction project and continue to establish a cooperative system.

An official from HD Hyundai said, "Not only construction machinery but also power equipment such as generator engines and mobile generators will help rebuild Ukraine. We will closely consult with the Ukrainian government to immediately promote cooperative reconstruction projects when necessary."

In July, President Cho accompanied the President Yoon Suk-yeol's Polish economic delegation to a meeting on Ukraine's reconstruction. On June 13, Ukraine's first vice minister of infrastructure, Shikurakov Vasili, and a group of railway officials visited the Ulsan campus of HD Hyundai Construction Machinery to tour production facilities and discuss the consultation system necessary for reconstruction projects.
