외교관 동정 양평군, 자매도시‘중국 조장시’전통 문화체험용품 전달
외교저널 (Diplomacy Journal) 이정하 기자 | 양평군은 3월 31일, 군수 집무실에서 자매도시 ‘중국 조장시’에서 보내온 전통 문화체험용품 전달식을 개최했다. 이날 전달식은 양평군의 자매도시인 ‘중국 조장시’에서 양평군 학생들의 중국 전통문화를 체험을 위한 서예용품, 종이류 등 전통문화체험용품을 보내와 관내 학교에 전달하기 마련됐다. 전달식에는 전진선 양평군수와 김대수 강상초등학교장, 류근옥 옥천초등학교장, 최지애 단월중학교장 등 조장시와 자매학교 협약을 맺은 3개교가 참석해 진행됐다. 전진선 군수는 “양평군과 대표 국외 자매도시인 조장시에서 중국 전통 문화체험용품을 보내와 관내 학생들이 중국 전통문화를 체험할수 있는 기회가 생겼다.”며, “앞으로도 청소년 교류를 포함한 다양한 분야에서 조장시와의 지속적인 협력을 이어나가겠다.”고 말했다. 한편, 양평군과 중국 조장시는 지난 2011년 자매도시협약을 맺은 이후, 활발한 대면교류를 이어왔으며, 코로나19의 감염확산으로 인해 영상회의 등의 비대면 교류를 지속해 온 바 있다. 양평군은 이번 전달식과 오는 5월 조장시 교육대표단의 양평군 방문 일정을 시작으로 위축됐던 국제 교류를 활발
