국제 페루 5개 도시 시장단, 고양특례시와 국제교류 간담회 가져
외교저널 (Diplomacy Journal) 이정하 기자 | 고양특례시는 지난 21일 고양특례시청에서 페루 친체로시, 아방카이시, 찰후아후아초시, 타라이시, 푸칼파시 등 5개 도시 시장들과 국제 교류 협력 추진을 위한 간담회를 열었다. 페루 시장단은 이달 열리는 한국·페루 혁신경제포럼에 참석하기 위해 방한한 페루 경제 교류 협력 사절단이다. 페루 시장단은 6월 21일부터 23일까지 킨텍스에서 진행되는 ‘국제광융합 O2O 엑스포 2023’에 참석 후 고양특례시와 경제 및 도시 발전 방향에 대해 논의하는 시간을 가졌다. 페루 5개 도시 시장단은 모두 신임 시장들로 도시 산업화 고민에 대한 공통분모를 가지고 있다. 이와 관련해 페루 시장단은 이동환 고양특례시장과 활발한 대화를 이어갔으며, 이동환 고양시장은 경제자유구역, 방송·영상밸리, 스마트시티 등 고양시의 산업화 계획과 주력 사업을 소개했다. 양측은 이번 만남을 계기로 경제, 산업 분야뿐만 아니라 문화, 예술 분야 등 다양한 분야에서 교류활동을 위한 노력할 것을 약속했다. 이동환 고양특례시장은 “저와 같은 고민을 하고 있는 시장님들을 만나 뵙고 의견을 나눌 수 있어서 뜻깊은 시간이었다.”라며

외교저널 (Diplomacy Journal) 이정하 기자 | 대한민국은 20일 오후(현지시각) 프랑스 파리에서 열린 제172차 국제박람회기구(BIE) 총회에서 2030세계박람회 부산 유치 열정을 한껏 뿜어낸 프레젠테이션(PT)을 펼쳤다. 이번 PT는 유치경쟁 과정 총 5차례 PT 중 네 번째 PT이다. 이번 4차 PT는 올해 11월 개최국 결정을 앞두고 회원국들의 표심을 사로잡을 분수령이 될 것으로 평가되고 있다.
